
Thomas C. Brasuell

Brasuell is responsible for Major League Baseball's central office community affairs initiatives. Prior to this, he managed Baseball's Reviving Baseball in Inner Cities (RBI) Program. At the Harriman Clubhouse of the Boys Club of New York, Tom was an active member and a peer counselor to other Club youth.
He was named to his current position in June of 2002 after becoming Major League Baseball's first Director of Community Affairs in October 2000.
Prior to coming to Baseball, Brasuell went into public service, becoming chief of staff to legendary New York City councilwoman Miriam Friedlander. He also directed constituent and youth services for the New York City Council and the NYC Department of Youth Services, respectively.
